The exhibition was conceived by the curator and co-curated by Graduate and Undergraduate CSU, Chico students who had taken the Modernism art history course the semester before. They helped in developing the underlying concepts to be presented, selecting the appropriate prints from the collection, exhibition design and installation to illustrate the concepts and authoring exhibition essays responding to the categories and topics arising from the general theme. A special thanks to James McManus, professor emeritus, art history, for his cogent contribution to theme and print selection.
